Following an intimate morning together, couple Margherita and Damiano head to Parco Sempione for an icecream. Standing on a bridge, Margherita watches a group of youths taunt a living statue before exchanging a brief moment with Guido - an acquaintance she feels drawn to. Back at their apartment, intimacy turns to passion, but Margherita breaks down in tears during sex, leaving Damiano alarmed. Distancing herself, Margherita ultimately walks out into the day.
